Web content author Writer Fox uploaded a collection of over 100 quotes about the Internet today, in celebration of the 21st Birthday of the World Wide Web.

Born on December 25, 1990, the World Wide Web has been the 'gift that keeps on giving' to the world. Originating at CERN (The European Organization for Nuclear Research in Geneva, Switzerland), the World Wide Web was the invention of Tim Berners-Lee.

A physicist by training, Berners-Lee says, "I invented the Web just because I needed it, really, because it was so frustrating that it didn't exist."

Executive Chairman of Google Eric Schmidt has said, "If this were a traditional science, Berners-Lee would win a Nobel Prize. What he's done is that significant."
